Ode To A Birthday Twin

Every year on my day of birth (19th of June) I can't help but think of all the other people I share this great day with. Starting 4 birthdays ago, my mind immediately turns to my day, month AND year b-day twin: Madame Sarah Hillary McNamara Albright Clinton Reedster. She's the smartest person I know, she loves cherry danishes from Marvelous Market and she asked me not to post embarrassing photos of her with this post. Naturally, I am ignoring that request. So then dear Reedster, this post goes out to you! Love and miss and miss and love! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday Brother!

My brother turns 16 today! Congrats! Be warned: If you are in the Southern California area, avoid the roads. Miss you brother! Love you! (He is the one at the back right in this photo. Embarrassment? I think YES.).

Ode To A BIrthday Twin

Cute Phone Purse!
Ok, there's no time for an ode (nor is there any ode that could adequately describe her greatness). Just a Happy Birthday to my favorite birthday twin. From Hot Wheels and Barbies to Anchorman Newsroom, we did it up right! Happy Birthday Reedster! The above is her rocking a mini-purse from Thailand. The below is her just plain rocking out with Al in the back seat. Cella and I were up front. AMAZING! Miss you!

I Miss My B-Day Twin...

There are two days every year that I always wish I was in the US - Christmas, and my birthday. Christmas is obvious - I love the whole family extravaganza!

The birthday has really taken shape thanks in large part to becoming great friends with Miss Sarah Reed, my birthday twin. She (along with miss Cella Gillis and in 2006, Becca A) was largely responsible for the creation of our themed double b-day party that became rather famous inside the beltway. 2005 saw the rise of Barbies and Hot Wheels, along with my scooter (which was stolen in broad daylight just months later). For 2006, we went with Anchorman, and I wore a big wig. Needless to say, these two celebrations (along with that awesome surprise party Carly through me when I turned 13) really set the bar high and therefore, I dedicate this entry to the best birthday twin a guy could ask for...the incomparable Sarah Reed! Miss you mama!

Some pictures, to pay tribute:

This would be Barbies & Hot Wheels...

This would be Anchorman...
